Nagtungo si Greg sa London upang dalawin ang kanyang mag-iina. Natagpuan nyang may malaki ng pagitan sa kanila ni Mer.

Isang araw din ang byahe sa eroplano mula Melbourne hanggang sa Heathrow airport sa London. Ayon kay Mer ay nasa bourough sila ng Barnes Cray. Walang isang oras na drive mula sa pribadong sasakyan. At halos isang oras naman kapag mag-take ng bus. Nangako siyang susunduin nya ako.

 

Umaga ako lumipad mula Melbourne. At umaga rin ako nakarating sa Heathrow. Nakalabas na ako sa gate ng arrival area ng tumunog ang cellphone ko. Si Mer ang tumatawag. “Tumingin ka sa bandang kanan nandito kami…” sabi nya.

Madali ko siyang nakita na kumakaway sa akin. Nagmamadali ang aking hakbang. Gustong-gusto kong mayakap ang babaeng unang na...
